The COVID-19 pandemic has made the last few months an unpredictable and unexpected time for everyone. Right from the outset, Castellana Properties has been actively seeking solutions for both customers and tenants at all of our shopping centres. We have redoubled our safety and preventive measures across all of our shopping centres in Spain, implementing over 200 additional health and hygiene procedures, social distancing and helping to raise awareness at every single one of our centres. The health and safety of our employees and customers is and always will be our core priority.

In response to the closure of most of our tenants’ stores due to the state of emergency, we have reached out to each and every one of them in a bid to overcome this complex situation together and find solutions that benefit both parties.

We have also created a “Charitable Fund” to support the local communities in which we operate, so far raising over €100,000 for local associations to help provide basic essentials to vulnerable members of society, following the significant rise in demand for help due to COVID-19.

Times like these truly bring out the best in companies and society as a whole. At Castellana Properties, we will continue to do everything within our means to help support the communities where we operate and we will also continue to closely monitor health guidelines in order to guarantee the safety of our employees and the customers at all of our shopping centres and retail parks.
