Castellana Properties, a listed company specialising in the retail sector once again shows its commitment to creating and spreading the joy so commonly associated with the circus via its new campaign Circus Spectacular in conjunction with the Burke Group. Circus artists from all over the world will fill Castellana Properties shopping centres and Granaita retail park with magic and wow visitors with their acrobatic prowess.

This campaign which will get underway on Thursday 3 March in Vallsur, will run for three consecutive days in each centre and will be a spectacle of entertainment for all ages. One of the main draws will be the live performances. Three different shows will be performed in four separate sessions. One of the shows will be the “Circus Tamer”, in which a wild animal tamer will appear on stage with animals such as pandas, koalas and polar bears and wow audiences with all kinds of fun-filled acrobatic action.

Another of the shows is the “Classic Circus”, a double act which sees an acrobat and juggling duo engage in a sensational extravaganza of diabolo juggling, aerial hoop dancing and balancing acts on a huge unicycle. The campaign will also include the “Circus Elephant” show which will consist of a giant float featuring a huge inflatable elephant. The line-up will also include the tallest man in the world – measuring a full three metres in height – and a special performance from an acrobat on top of a giant ball.

Shopping centre visitors will also be able to enjoy the funfair inspired stands which will be serving up the true taste of the circus with delicious candy floss and where they can play four different games involving hoopla, basketball free throw, a balloon-blast wheel and darts.

This initiative will also be advertised on the social media networks of each shopping centre. Anyone interested in taking part can have their picture taken in the giant circus photocall pop-up display set up in each centre and post their picture with #CircusSpectacular along with the name of the shopping centre where the photo was taken. The winner of the competition will appear alongside the circus artists in a grand finale at the end of the campaign.

As part of this campaign, Castellana Properties is looking to bring the magic of the circus to all the cities across Spain in which it operates, including Badajoz with El Faro Shopping Centre, Seville with Los Arcos, Cádiz with the Bahía Sur and Puerta Europa centres, Granada with the Granaita retail park, Torrevieja with Habaneras and Valladolid with Vallsur, which will be the first centre to pull up the curtains and get this initiative underway.
