• The company has achieved the GOLD rating in the categories EPRA Best Practice Recommendations (BPR) and EPRA Sustainability Best Practice Recommendations (sBPR), for the fifth and fourth consecutive year respectively.

• Castellana Properties has been awarded five stars by GRESB, the global benchmark in ESG assessment, in addition to achieving a score of 91 out of 100.

• These distinctions also recognise the incorporation of four new assets: Riosul, LoureShopping and 8ª Avenida in Portugal, and Bonaire in Spain.

Castellana Properties has been recognised with the top distinction, GOLD, in the EPRA BPR and sBPR. Likewise, the company has achieved the highest category, five stars, in the GRESB ranking.

Both awards have taken into account the new assets incorporated by the company during its past fiscal 2025, a year that also marked its first international expansion. This analysis includes Bonaire (Valencia) as well as Riosul, LoureShopping and 8ª Avenida in Portugal.

The recognition in EPRA BPR certifies that the company presents its financial results in a clear, coherent manner aligned with European standards. Meanwhile, the distinction in EPRA sBPR values the quality of its sustainability information, highlighting the reliability of the data on energy, emissions, water and waste, as well as the rigour of governance applied to these processes. It is worth noting that the company has achieved these ratings for the fifth and fourth consecutive year.

Receiving both awards consecutively underscores Castellana Properties’ ongoing effort to consolidate transparency, facilitate sector comparability and implement best practices in communicating its financial and sustainability performance.

Also, with a score of 91 out of 100, the company has achieved five stars in the GRESB ranking, the global benchmark for assessing the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of real estate portfolios. In this edition, Castellana Properties stood out in Management, achieving a score of 30 out of 30.

Regarding the results in the ESG areas, the company particularly excels in the Social and Governance dimensions, where it obtained scores of 18 out of 18, and 20 out of 20 respectively, the same as the previous year. Additionally, in the Environmental aspect, its rating was 53 out of 62, above the sector average (50 points). GRESB thus recognises the company’s effort in promoting transparency and improving its management of ESG-related issues.

For Débora Santamaría, CFO of Castellana Properties:

“These recognitions reflect Castellana Properties’ firm commitment to transparency, excellence in management and sustainability. We are particularly pleased to maintain this level of recognition and once again achieve the highest distinctions from EPRA and GRESB, at a time so marked by our entry into a new market such as Portugal. This demonstrates that we are applying — and are capable of implementing — best practices both in financial information and in ESG performance in an efficient and effective way. For us, it is essential to continue advancing a strategy that generates long-term value for our shareholders, customers and society at large.”
