Madrid, October 24th, 2019.- The Granaita retail park, owned by Castellana Properties, has been awarded today as the best company in job creation by the readers of Actualidad Económica at the Andalusian Business Success Awards. These awards for entrepreneurship, which are held annually, have a long tradition as well as considerable prestige among the business world.

The Job Creation category, in which Granaita has been awarded, seeks to recognize the company that has stood out in the creation of jobs over the last few years in any productive activity. Thus, in the first 6 months after the refurbishment of the park in which Castellana Properties invested 5.5 million euros, more than 1,700 direct and indirect jobs have been consolidated.

In addition, thanks to the investment of Castellana Properties, the commercial mix of Granaita has been improved and optimized, attracting new tenants that customers were demanding, and the occupancy rate of the park has increased from 48% to over 98%. On the occasion of the six months of its reopening, the company conducted a survey among its customers which revealed that 99% of customers are satisfied with the new centre and 77% ratified having increased their visits after its inauguration last March.
