Castellana Properties, a listed company specialising in the retail sector, launches its FutGo! Qatar campaign to celebrate the football World Cup being held this year. The initiative, which kicked off last Friday, will run until 18 December across all of the Company’s shopping centres and Granaita retail park.

This campaign, which will be full of fun-packed activities for football lovers, will also feature multiple prize-draws and games. First-up is the “Grand Sweepstake ” that will run until 19 November, the last day before the football action gets underway in Qatar. This draw will see participants place bets on match results and on who will be the World Cup’s best players. Anyone interested in taking part can simply visit the stand that has been specially set up in each of the firm’s shopping centres: Bahía Sur in San Fernando, Los Arcos in Seville, El Faro in Badajoz, Vallsur in Valladolid, Habaneras in Torrevieja, Puerta Europa in Algeciras and the Granaita retail park in Granada. Alternatively, they can register via each centre’s App.

To enter into the “Grand Sweepstake” participants will simply have to submit a receipt for a minimum purchase of €30 and be a member of the centre’s loyalty scheme. The player who manages to correctly guess the teams that reach the final, the final score and the player of the tournament could walk away with the grand total of €10,000 in prize money. The participant(s) that have submitted the correct names and scores for all three categories will be announced on 18 December – the closing day of the competition.

In addition, World Cup themed games and a daily sweepstake will be held at a special stand set up at each shopping centre and the Granaita retail park as of 11 November. To take part in these games, customers must simply show a receipt for a minimum purchase of €10 and be a member of the centre’s loyalty scheme. The games are suitable for people all ages, with thousands of prizes on offer for all the family to enjoy: balls; football shirts ; sports-related goods, discounts and prizes to be used at the centres’ stores and restaurants and draws for VIP prizes such as game consoles and other electronic equipment. Some of the games that will give avid football fans a chance to show off their own prowess include a digital screen for playing the daily sweepstake, two lanes with goals for shooting practice and a table football.
