Castellana Properties, the listed company specialising in the retail sector, welcomes one of fashion’s leading brands, Lefties. The Spanish chain will open its new store in El Faro shopping centre in Badajoz, less than a kilometre from the Portuguese border.

The news comes as a vote of confidence in Castellana Properties’ portfolio, El Faro being the leading light in the region’s retail scene. Known across Spain and internationally for its on-trend fashion, Lefties’ first store at El Faro will offer over 5,000 sqm of display space, part of a unit formerly leased to Hipercor.

The popular fashion chain was founded in Spain in 1999 by the Inditex group, and now operates in 17 countries, with online stores in seven. It boasts a network of 195 stores across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America. Lefties’ on-trend, innovative designs have made it a go-to for consumers seeking the latest looks at affordable prices.

Its arrival at El Faro marks a major milestone for both the shopping centre, and the city of Badajoz, demonstrating its ability to draw in brands eager to launch in new strategic markets. The store will offer an extensive range of fashion for all the family, bringing a breath of fresh air to the centre. As the brand’s first Badajoz location, it is expected to pull in crowds from across the province and the Portuguese region of Alentejo.
