Shopping Center

The Shopping Centre is located in San Fernando, set in a natural environment with views of the Bay of Cádiz, next to the suburban train station that offers direct access to the centre of Cádiz, and the Bahía Sur Sports City, one of the finest sports facilities in the entire province. 

Bahía Sur caters to a potential audience of 674,250 residents and provides a modern retail concept where the shopping experience, leisure, and natural spaces come together to create unique moments. 

Fashion, beauty, sports, homeware, and supermarkets are all available across its more than 94 stores and 56,624 m² of GLA (of which 35,297 m² are owned by Castellana Properties), with national and international brands such as Zara, Mango, and JD Sports. Primark and other brands like Lefties, Kiwoko, and Espaço Casa have recently opened, as has the new Yelmo Premium cinema, which occupies a 3,000 m² area. Additionally, the dining area offers American, Asian, Mexican, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine in various restaurants and cafés. 

The transformation project was completed in January 2022, affecting several areas, from the restrooms to the interior redesign of the gallery. This project was nominated for the 2022 BREEAM Awards in the "Commercial Project – In Use" category and received an honourable mention for "Best Large Renovation" at the 18th Spanish Congress of Shopping Centres and Parks. 

The shopping centre aims to offer visitors a new shopping model in a unique space, with activities and entertainment throughout the year. Visitors can also enjoy sunsets in a privileged setting, use binoculars or bicycles to explore its Natural Park. The shopping centre has a programme of 100 measures to ensure environmental protection and promote sustainable development. It also holds the BREEAM certification, recognising excellence in infrastructure management, and the ISO 14001 certification for waste management.
