The shopping centre is located in the municipality of Torrevieja, which belongs to the province of Alicante and is located between the capital and the province of Murcia. Taking into account its catchment area, Habaneras has a potential public of 530,000 inhabitants, to which should be added 178,440 of floating population

It is a modern design shopping centre built in 2005 with a gross lettable area of 25,021 m2. It has 56 commercial premises distributed over three floors, two above ground for commercial activity and one below ground that combines commercial use with a parking area. The shopping centre has an open Mediterranean architecture, where visitors can enjoy the climate while strolling. It is also part of a shopping area with large stores such as Carrefour, Lidl, Mercadona and other attractions such as a bowling alley and eight IMF cinemas. 

Habaneras has a total of 789 free parking spaces, approximately 698 of which are located on two floors below ground level, and 91 surface units with direct access from the street. Fashion brands, including leaders such as the Inditex Group, are present in the centre. Among the locomotives are Dealz (577 m2), Forum Sport (2,000 m2), Zara (1,895 m2) and the new Leroy Merlin shop (4,940 m2).
