The retail park is located in Pulianas, a municipality surrounding the city of Granada, considered strategic due to its easy access from the A44 and A92 motorways, as well as from the N432 and A4006 roads.
The retail park is situated in a commercial hub comprising over 80,000 m² of gross leasable area, making it the largest in the region. Granaíta, with a total GLA of 83,490 m², of which 54,807 m² are owned by Castellana Properties, was created from the integration of the Kinepolis Park and the Alameda Shopping Centre after a €5.5 million investment.
It was reopened in March 2019 with a completely new image and a much more modern and innovative design. Castellana Properties plans to continue investing in the connection of both spaces with recreational areas and green spaces.
Granaíta thus becomes an ideal space to meet the demand for entertainment, fashion, and leisure for families and young people in Granada and its metropolitan area. However, due to its excellent location and accessibility, its sphere of influence extends to towns in the western part of Granada and the neighbouring province of Jaén.
Among its main tenants are leading brands in the sector such as Mercadona, Burger King, Kinepolis, Decathlon, Sprinter, and Pepco. Granaíta also holds the BREEAM certification, which recognises excellence in infrastructure management.
